Artifact Explained -
This artifact is an example of my ability to work in a collaborative setting using concept based skills to create a product using technology for an authentic and engaging learning experience. Unfortunately during my student teaching, I was never able to work with an age group in a class that had the resources to do a song like this with the technology we used, but I have formed the ideas and knowledge of how to do this. We were given the parameters of using not being able to use notation, not being able to play our primary instrument, and needing to use Christmas music. We could use all other resources that we had. Using an assignment based on having a final outcome like or similar to this is a great summative assessment of students musical abilities using concept based skills, with technology, and in a collaborative setting.
